After Losing Her Husband Céline Dion Mourns Her Brother At His Memorial

Celine Dion is going through a lot right now after losing her husband, and then days after, her older brother.

Just one day after attending the funeral of René Angélil, her late husband, the singer had to mourn her brother at a funeral home.

Her brother Daniel was 59 when he died after years of suffering from cancer. The family remembered him as a "gentle and reserved man of many talents." A source also claims that Celine Dion is close with her family.

On Monday, Jan. 25, the family will say goodbye to Daniel at a funeral that will be kept at St-Simon-et-Jude parish in Charlemagne, Quebec. This is where the family was raised, and where Celine Dion's first album got its breakthrough before coming to the United States and around the world.

The funeral of her late husband was held on Friday. Celine Dion was visibly shaken by the fact that her husband is gone. By her side were her three sons, the twins and the oldest who is 15-years-old.

The funeral was a spectacle with everyone dressed in black as they showed their final respects to a man who made the singer what she is today. We understand that her husband wanted her to sing several of her songs, and she honored that final wish with tears running down her cheeks.

She also had a few words to say, but she did this in French. However, the older son gave his speech in English. He said thst following his father's footsteps will be tough, but he will do it regardless and will make sure to help his brothers do the same.

"Fifteen years is not a long time for a son to get to know his father," he said.

"You're a tough act to follow, but with your help, everything is going to be fine," he continued. "I promise you that we are going to live up to your standards."

After the speech, the young man went ahead to hug his mother who still had tears running down her cheeks.
