BOOM Studio's Humble Bundle lets you name your own price for 95 comics

Humble Bundle has made a name for itself by letting consumers name their price for entertainment, as well as choosing where that money goes to in the form of charities. While Humble Bundle in the past has found great success in selling large video game collections, the online retailer is now partnering with comic book creators to offer even more value. If you are looking for value, look no further than the Humble BOOM! Bundle, which currently includes more than 95 comic issues across 18 different titles.

Those comics would normally set one back more than $350, but through Humble Bundle you can snag them all for as low as $15. The bundle is set up like this: for any price, as low as one cent, you have access to 39 comics, which include multiple complete series as well as comics based on "RoboCop." Pay more than the average donation (currently $9.05) and you will receive even more comics, including 16 issues of BOOM!'s "Planet of the Apes" comics. If you are feeling generous and decide to pay more than $15, you get 18 more issues, four based on "Adventure Time" creator Pendleton Ward's "Bravest Warriors" YouTube series. As the deals goes on, even more comics are expected to be added to the list, but so far all that together totals 95 comics, also known as more comics than you know what to do with.

You can check out the deal for yourself here. All the money spent purchasing the bundle can be divided at checkout to go to a variety of locations. Enjoy reading BOOM! comics? Sending the majority of your purchase directly to the comic creator is an option. You can also donate your purchase to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of the First Amendment rights of the comics art form and its community of retailers, creators, publishers, librarians and readers. Of course, some of the money can be sent Humble's way as well, or divided equally (or not so equally) between all three organizations.

The best part is that every comic comes DRM free, meaning if you really wanted to, you could share them with friends. They also come in a variety of digital formats for whatever digital reading platform you prefer.

So far the bundle has raised more than $16,000 and counting in its first day, with more than 1,600 bundle purchases. The Humble BOOM! Bundle is running for two weeks and ends on Wednesday, Aug. 20.
