Under Armour announced the launch a of suite of connected fitness products, along with a new app at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on Tuesday.
The company also announced its partnership with HTC, which helped engineer and deploy the new integrated system, called UA HealthBox, which measures, monitors and manages sleep, fitness, activity and nutrition.
UA HealthBox, the brand's first-ever connected fitness system, features a new fitness band, heart rate monitor and smart scale that connects seamlessly with the new UA Record app available to download for iOS and Android, which serves as a dashboard for daily activities to provide the athlete with all their health and fitness data.
"This system contains everything a consumer needs to better manage their health and fitness," Wolfgang Muller, executive director of connected products at HTC, said in a press release. "Whether you are a high performance athlete or simply committed to improving your health, UA HealthBox is the only system that delivers the complete picture and provides the information and motivation needed to achieve your goals."
HTC and Under Armour's new wearable, the UA Band, tracks steps, distance, resting heart rate and sleep. The athlete can set daily goals and track their progress directly on the band. It also features an advanced workout mode, with the display staying on during the workout and an LED that reveals the user's heart rate zone when paired with the UA Heart Rate. The display is hidden under the outer layer of the band, which allows it to disappear when not in use. The band comes in black, with a red underside, and allows for moisture wicking.
The UA Heart Rate monitor features micro snap technology to provide comfort during workouts. The chest strap and removable sensor monitors intensity during workouts and accurately counts calories burned. Using the UA Record app, the athlete can further customize their heart rate zones.
The Bluetooth- and W-Fi-enabled UA Scale measures weight and body fat percentage in up to eight individuals. It features a circular design, with a sheet of glass with advanced conductive paint technology with a hidden LED display to provide the readings, and comes in black with a red underside. The scale syncs with the app so that the users can monitor their weight over time.
The UA HealthBox will be available starting on Jan. 22 in the U.S., with preorders starting today on HTC.com, UA.com and at Under Armour Brand locations. The UA HealthBox — which features the UA Band, UA Heart Rate and UA Scale — retails for $400.
Separately, the UA Band retails for $180, the UA Heart Rate for $80 and the UA Scale for $180.

With the HealthBox suite of products being introduced, athletes will be empowered with the information to make better decisions and ultimately enrich their lives in a way that's never been done before."
Under Armour also revealed its first smart shoe, called the UA SpeedForm Gemini 2 Record Equipped, along with two models of wireless headphones created in partnership with Harman.
Under Armour's UA SpeedForm Gemini 2 Record Equipped smart shoe tracks and stores data such as the date, duration, distance and splits, which allows the athlete to track stats of their runs device-free. The Gemini 2 RE retails for $150 when they become available on Feb. 29 on UA.com and in select running stores.
In its partnership with Harman, Under Armour unveiled the UA Headphones Wireless and UA Wireless Heart Rate, both of which are engineered by JBL. Both headphones are available now for preorder at JBL.com and UA.com and will be released in spring 2016. The UA Headphones Wireless retail for $180, whereas the latter retails for $250.
