OM has announced a new sports bra for runners and other athletes, enabling them to track a range of different metrics.
The bra is designed to be used with the new OMrun platform, and is able to track distance, cadence, pace, heart rate and calories burned. Not only that, but it can even track how much oxygen it takes for the runner to go a certain distance and helps users track their breathing so that runners can develop better breathing patterns.
Last but not least is the fact that the bra can measure fatigue before, during and after a run. Biometric fatigue is essentially tracked through heart rate, breathing rate and the variability of the heart rate during the run itself.
What brings the system to a new level is the fact that it can act as a biometric coach, helping athletes reach their fitness goals.
In addition to the fitness tracking metrics, OM promises a comfortable bra that offers stretchable fabric that can conform to the shape of the body while it moves.
The OMbra and the OMrun platform is set to go on sale in the spring this year. Pricing and an exact release date have yet to be announced.
