A 'Star Wars' Fan Built A Millennium Falcon Made Entirely Out Of LEGOs

It seems that replicas of Star Wars spaceships are very "in" this season. A week after an image of the Star Wars Corellian YT-1300 light freighter made entirely out of gingerbread went viral right before Christmas Day, an intricate LEGO version of Han Solo's Millennium Falcon is now making the Internet rounds.

"My main goal was to present the model in a flying position, which was a huge task. Due to its internal framework it was not possible to include an interior, but I was able to fully lighten the model," said Marshal Banana, the username for the LEGO spaceship builder in question.

Weighing in at roughly 22 pounds, the entire 32 x 21 x 7-inch model took over a year to make, and is comprised of 7,500 separate pieces. The LEGO Millennium Falcon replica also features a detailed four-seat cockpit with a lowering ramp and gunner platform, as well as its own original radar dish.
