Give Tesla some credit for wishing everyone a Merry Christmas ... while strategically showing off its highly anticipated Model X in the process.
The automaker accomplished just that Wednesday, uploading its "Merry Model X-Mas" video to YouTube, using the Model X in a special light show in sync with festive music right in time for the holidays.
The three-minute, 6-second clip shows the Model X in all its glory, flashing its lights and lifting its Falcon Wing doors all to the beat of an orchestra playing.
The Model X, which is currently available to be reserved on Tesla's website, is touted as the "safest, fastest and most capable sport utility vehicle in history" by the automaker. Boasting all-wheel drive and a 90 kWh battery, giving 257 miles of range, the Model X provides seating for seven adults.
More than anything, though, its the Model X's zero to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds that's unchartered territory for SUVs and has car enthusiasts salivating for its release.
It's hard not to watch this video and await the Model X impacting roads next year that much more.
A very Merry Model X-Mas ... especially to those fortunate enough to have reserved the Model X.
