While Microsoft and Steam may have just joined the holiday sale race, Sony has been going strong for weeks: the publisher's annual PlayStation Holiday Sale just entered its third week, and somehow, there's still no shortage of discounts of which gamers can take advantage.
That being said, this week's selections aren't quite as eye-catching as previous weeks' have been. That's not to say that there aren't games worth buying this week — there are some great deals here — but it looks like Sony is starting to have a bit of trouble following up on the first two weeks of the sale.
Even so, the Week 3 discounts are nothing to sneeze at: for starters, Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops III is currently down to $50 for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Considering how new the game is (and how rarely Call of Duty titles goes on sale), anyone hoping to play Activision's latest will want to grab Black Ops III before it goes back up to full price.
If you're looking for something a bit more down to Earth, Battlefield: Hardline is currently sitting at $20, while Until Dawn comes in at just $48. If you want even more sci-fi, Destiny: The Taken King is currently 25 percent off: that means you can buy the base game and all three expansion packs for just $45.
A number of smaller titles round out this week's selections: DragonBall Xenoverse is $20, while LittleBigPlanet 3 and Saints Row IV are down to $12, among others. Again, the deals on hand this week aren't quite as impressive as previous offerings, but there are still more than a few games worth picking up for cheap.
Remember, these deals are only good through Dec. 28, so grab them while they're cheap. For a full list of all discounted games, head on over to the PlayStation Store.
