Celebrate The Holidays With These Christmas Movies, TV Series And Specials Streaming On Netflix

There's just a few days left until Christmas, which means it's prime time to kick your holiday spirit into high gear. Besides blasting "All I Want For Christmas Is You" while wrapping the presents for under the tree, nothing screams Christmastime more than watching holiday-themed movies that leave us feeling a bit more jolly — especially when eggnog is involved.

And luckily for Netflix subscribers, 'tis the season to start streaming all your favorite classic Christmas movies, along with Christmas-themed episodes of favorite TV shows and stand-alone specials on the platform.

Things kicked off early on Netflix with the Christmas special A Very Murray Christmas that became available on Dec. 4. And after you become impressed with Miley Cyrus' take on "Silent Night," make sure to add Christmas with the Kranks, The Legend of Frosty the Snowman, and The Nightmare Before Christmas to your queue.

The holiday-themed episode of Glee titled "A Very Glee Christmas" is also available, and Black Mirror's "White Christmas" special from 2014 will be available on Dec. 25.

Remember that Netflix also has plenty of non-Christmas related content that has been added this month, so those who are looking for other titles can check out the full list here.

But get your cookies and milk ready because here's the full list of Christmas movies, TV series and specials to stream on Netflix.

MOVIES

Love Actually (2003)

Director: Richard Curtis
Stars: Hugh Grant, Martine McCutcheon, Liam Neeson

When you think of holiday movies, chances are you probably immediately think of the rom-com Love Actually. The film follows eight couples who are dealing with their love lives during the craziness that leads up to Christmas.

I'll Be Home For Christmas (1998)

Director: Ariene Sanford
Stars: Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Jessica Biel, Adam LaVorgna

Get ready to feel nostalgic because this '90s Christmas tale stars former teen heartthrob JTT (and a younger Jessica Biel). It follows the story of a college student whose plans to come home for Christmas get derailed thanks to a prank. Still, he will stop at nothing to make it home, learning some valuable lessons along the way.

A Christmas Carol (1938)

Director: Edwin L. Marin
Stars: Reginald Owen, Gene Lockhart, Kathleen Lockhart

No Christmas movie streaming list is complete without the classic A Christmas Carol. The black and white film follows Ebenezer Scrooge as he is visited by spirits who show him his mean ways and transform him to show compassion and embrace the spirit of the holidays.

Christmas with the Kranks (2004)

Director: Joe Roth
Stars: Tim Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dan Aykroyd

Speaking of crankiness during the holidays, Christmas with the Kranks is the family comedy that features a couple who decide to skip celebrating Christmas this year. But when their daughter decides to come home to celebrate, the couple must pull everything off at the last minute.

The Legend of Frosty The Snowman (2005)

Director: Greg Sullivan

Stars: Jeannie Elias, Bill Fagerbakke, Evan Gore

We all know the classic movie that plays each year, but this sequel starring our favorite snowman takes Frosty to Evergreen to show children that magic is real. Although nothing can beat the original movie, this title is a perfectly goofy yet sentimental film we need to stream right now.

Ernest Saves Christmas (1988)

Director: John R. Cherry III
Stars: Jim Varney, Douglas Seale, Oliver Clark

Ernest must save Christmas after Santa decides to retire and pass along the baton. Things go horribly wrong (in the most hilarious ways possible) as Santa tries to find his missing magic sack. Leave it up to Ernest to make things a whole lot worse before finally saving the day.
