Rdio Allows Users To Look Back At Their Streaming History In Farewell Page

Music streaming platform Rdio is saying goodbye to its loyal listeners by allowing them to take a stroll down memory lane through its new farewell page.

Last month, news broke that the struggling and bankrupt service would shut down, with rival music platform Pandora announcing that it would acquire its key assets.

Now on its last legs, Rdio has launched a farewell page that gives users a chance to see an archive of their music on the platform.

The archive also features some details about the user's listening history, such as the date they signed up for the service, the first song they ever streamed, their first playlist and their most played album.

The music platform revealed some of its own all-time stats, which reveals that the first listener signed up on Aug. 3, 2010, and the first song that played on Rdio was Katy Perry's, ft. Snoop Dogg, "California Gurls."

Rdio revealed that the most played album on the service was "Nothing was the Same" by Drake, whereas the most played song was Bruno Mars' "When I was Your Man."

The service also made sure to include its favorite comment of all time, which was written in reference for DJ Snake and Lil John's hit single "Turn Down for What." The comment, by Colin Fisher, reads," Very touching tribute to turning things down for reasons we forget."

Rdio is also allowing users who log in to their accounts to also be able to download the archive collection.

Rdio subscriptions were cancelled backed in November, when the service no longer accepted new members. After Nov. 23, all paid subscribers were moved to the free tier until the music service officially closes up shop.

Rdio will shut down worldwide in the coming weeks.
