The first official trailer for Star Trek Beyond was expected to be shown in theaters before Star Wars: The Force Awakens on Dec. 18. However, a German version of the movie's trailer has leaked online on Monday.
As a result, Paramount decided to go ahead and release the official trailer a bit sooner then it originally had planned.
The trailer features the Beastie Boys' classic single "Sabotage," which was also featured in the first film when a young Kirk was riding in the desert.
Fans then see a montage of some of the action-packed scenes, as well as some of the new species the crew will face. It's worth nothing that the members of the USS Enterprise are also sporting new uniforms.
Of course, there are some moments of comedic relief packed within all the action, including a moment we see between Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy and Spock.
Starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Anton Yelchin, Idris Elba and Sofia Boutella, Star Trek Beyond hits theaters on July 22, 2016.
