Winter may be officially days away but the weather has indeed grown nippier. Feel like the cold is starting to make its way to your heart? Your icebox of a heart will surely melt once you get a load of Daisy Ridley and Oscar Isaac singing a duet.
Ridley may be most well-known today as the face of Rey in the upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" but what many people don't know is that the actress also has an amazing voice. Just ask Twitter user Sherrilyn Ling.
A self-proclaimed Princess Leia fan, Ling is definitely excited about "The Force Awakens," where she'll be seeing her beloved princess mature into General Leia, but it also looks like she's keen on seeing more of Ridley as well. In a tweet, she asked if the actress and Oscar Isaac (who plays Poe Dameron in "The Force Awakens") can do a duet sometime, tagging the official Star Wars Twitter account and using the hashtag #TwitterAwakens.
To this, the "Star Wars" Twitter account responded with a clip of Ridley and Isaac singing "Baby, It's Cold Outside," a song highly apt for the season.
And wouldn't you know it, Ling was right!
Ridley does have a phenomenal voice and Isaac is not too shabby either. Well, he did sing in "Inside Llewyn Davis" so his vocal prowess isn't surprising for those who have seen the comedy-drama movie. But for those who have not, hearing Isaac croon for the first time is a sweet treat.
As two of the three main characters in "The Force Awakens," Ridley and Isaac are definitely getting a lot of attention. Well, they are starring in one of the biggest movie franchises in the world so there's no helping that. There's also the simple fact that the two just appear to be extremely talented.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is due for a North American release Dec. 18. The movie will be having its world premiere on Dec. 14 and will start showing in other countries Dec. 16 and 17.
