Check Out The Superhero Registration Act Document That Has The Avengers Divided In 'Captain America: Civil War'

Marvel's cinematic universe is set to be torn apart thanks to a little something called the Superhero Registration Act, also known in the movie as "the Sokovia Accords." This fictional piece of legislation would require all superheroes to register with the government, officially becoming a tool of a special UN council.

If you've seen the trailer for Captain America: Civil War, you'll know that Captain America, Falcon and others aren't too keen on waiting for the government to say when they can and can't save people. Iron Man and his team of followers, on the other hand, think it might not be a bad idea to have some supervision in light of the nearly world-ending events at the end of Age of Ultron, events that Iron Man was mostly to blame for.

That's causing some tensions among Earth's mightiest heroes. If you're curious about the exact wording of the fictional government document that has the Avengers divided, wonder no more!

The folks over at Gamesradar have gotten an advance copy of the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 2 Blu-ray box set, and the Superhero Registration Act comes included as a cool extra.

The document reads: "In accordance with the document at hand, I hereby certify that the below mentioned participants, peoples, and individuals, shall no longer operate freely or unregulated, but instead operate under the rules, ordinances and governances of the afore mentioned United Nations panel, acting only when and if the panel deems it appropriate and/or necessary." It includes spaces for each hero to sign at the bottom, but don't expect to see the signature of Steve Rogers anytime soon.

Captain America: Civil War is in theaters May 6. You can check out the document below.
