It sounds like director Zack Snyder has pulled a fast one on fans after tweeting an image of actor Henry Cavill dressed as a Jedi Knight. The picture comes on the heels of the first day of the San Diego Comic-Con, and it is unclear just what the trick is all about.
The picture in question has "Man of Steel" actor Henry Cavill in full costume as a member of the Knights of the Jedi Order with a caption that says "superjedi". This trick obviously is targeted at fans that are gearing up to go to, or are already at, the San Diego Comic-Con, which just went live today.
Obviously, this picture does not mean that Cavill will be donning the cloak of a Jedi anytime soon. The "SuperJedi" idea seems to be a tease of all of the cool things that are going to revealed this weekend at the Con. However, seeing a lightsaber wielding Kal-El is most definitely not in the cards, unfortunately.
That being said, there is no need to get nervous or excited for what would become a disastrous comic book crossover. No word yet on whether this tweet is a goof from director Zack Snyder, or if he is just wanting to get in on the fun of the Con. Take a look at the image below:
