T-Mobile can't stop giving away holiday gifts. Most recently, the Uncarrier has slashed down the price of Samsung's flagship Galaxy smartphones by $100, allowing you to purchase the devices at a steep discount you probably wouldn't find at other carriers.
The Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+ and Note 5 are now available from the T-Mobile website with the $100 discount. It's an automatic discount, so you don't need to enter a code or coupon at checkout.
This puts the Galaxy S6, previously priced at $579.99, at $479.99 for the 32 GB version. If you opt to pay for the device using T-Mobile's device installment plan, the cost is $20 per month for 24 months, with $0 down for well-qualified buyers.
The 32 GB Galaxy S6 edge is now $579.99, down from its regular selling price of $679.99. Monthly installments cost $24 per month.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note 5 with 32 GB storage is sold at $599.99, down from $699.99. The monthly payments for this phone amount to $25 every month.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ is the most expensive device, sold at $679.99 for the 32 GB option and $28.34 per month if you opt for the installment plan.
The $100 discount applies to the 64 GB versions of each smartphone as well. If you opt to activate Samsung Pay on your brand new Galaxy smartphone, you also get to save another $50, which you can redeem [pdf] until the end of this year. It's not clear when T-Mobile plans to bring the prices back up, so it's best to take advantage of these deals if you're planning to buy a Galaxy phone at T-Mobile one of these days.
T-Mobile is also offering a trade-in deal for the Galaxy S6, which allows you to get the device for $0 down and $0 monthly payments if you trade it in for another premium device and subscribe to a JUMP! On Demand plan.
Other deals include $75 off on the Galaxy Note 4, which brings down the price to $479.99. And if you're not much of a Samsung fan, T-Mobile is also offering $75 off on the LG G4, which is available in gray plastic and premium brown leather, to bring the price down to $324.99. To avail of both deals, you'll have to use the code SAVE75.
As part of Uncarrier Unwrapped, T-Mobile's month-long gift-giving bonanza for customers, the magenta carrier is also offering three full months of unlimited 4G LTE — no throttling — to all Simple Choice customers. It certainly looks like a great time to be a T-Mobile customer!
