December is just around the corner, which means holiday shopping, tinsel and plenty of food. While 'tis the season to be merry, waiting in long lines, hearing screaming kids, and those same few Christmas songs over and over again might have you feeling like a Grinch. Sometimes all we need is to take a weekend to completely unwind on the couch.
Luckily for us, one of our favorite premium cable channels is adding new movies all month long, including the romantic film The Longest Ride to enjoy with your gal pals, the comedy Get Hard to watch with all your buddies and the second installment of the Divergent series titled Insurgent for an action-packed family movie night.
But that's not all. Make sure to tune into the season finale of the The Leftovers on Dec. 6, and the documentary Very Semi-Serious: A Partially Thorough Portrait of New Yorker Cartoonist on Dec. 7. Boxing fans are going to be glued to HBO with four episodes of Boxing's Best of 2015 and the Jennings vs. Ortiz / Walters vs. Sosa fight.
Don't forget that you can also catch select movies and TV series on HBO GO and On Demand if you miss the original air time.
Here's the full list of new movies, TV shows, sports, specials and returning favorites coming to HBO and HBO GO in December.
