Retailers have started teasing customers about what to expect as part of Black Friday deals. Expansys has already started offering its Black Friday deals and the retailer is offering hefty discounts on Google Nexus 5.
Google launched and released the Nexus 5 in October 2013. The handset may be two years old but the specifications of the handset may still attract many customers.
The Nexus 5 sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and 445ppi. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz and 2GB of RAM powers the Nexus 5. The handset is equipped with an 8MP primary camera and a 1.3MP selfie camera.
The handset is available in 16GB and 32GB storage option without an option to expand the storage with a microSD card. A 2,300mAh battery powers the Nexus 5.
The handset came running on Android 4.4 KitKat straight out of the box. However, currently it is one of the handful mobile devices to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Expansys is offering big discounts of the Nexus 5 and its bundles. A brand new unlocked black, white or red version of the 32GB model Nexus 5 is available on Expansys for $199.99. The actual retail price of the smartphone on the retailer was $349.99, which means customers can save 43 percent.
For $219.99, Expansys is offering the black, white or red Nexus 5 32GB with refurbished LG Tone+ BT Headphones.
A refurbished white, black or red 16GB Nexus 5 is also available on Expansys for $179.99, which is a discount of 25 percent.
Nexus 5 smartphones are not the only devices that customers can purchase at reduced prices from Expansys. The online retailer is also offering 39 percent discount on a refurbished 13.3-inch Asus Chromebook. The device has a retail price of $229.99 but customers can grab it for $139.99.
An 11.6-inch Acer Chromebook that costs $179.99 is currently available on Expansys for $129.99.
Expansys states that limited stocks are available, which means that interested customers may have to rush if they want to benefit from the discounts.
This year, Black Friday is on Nov. 27 but many retailers have already started their deals in advance to lure customers. Some buyers may take advantage of the latest deals but other may wait until Nov. 27 to see if further discounts are offered by retailers.
