If you're going to stand out in the crowded tablet market, you're going to have to project features that make your device unique.
Lenovo took that literally, including a built-in projector on its Yoga Tab 3 Pro, which hit stores in September with a $500 price tag. Tech Times saw the feature in action, up close and personal during Pepcom's Wine, Dine & Demo! event in New York City on Thursday night and it's pretty unique.
Equipped with a pico projector, the Android 5.1-operating tablet can project a 70-inch image. So, if you had a long day at the office and just want to curl up in bed to Netflix, cut out the lights, flip on the projector and get lost in your movie, plastered onto your wall. Can you say, economical, but efficient home theater?
Taking the feature a step further is the Yoga Tab 3 Pro and Yoga Tab 3's hang-mode capability. Unlike other competitors in the tablet space, Lenovo brilliantly carved a small hole in its sturdy kickstand, allowing it to be hung on a wall.
Well, why would you ever need to hang your tablet on the wall? There's more situations that make the feature handy than you might think. Need to follow a YouTube recipe step-by-step? Hang the Yoga Tab 3 Pro on the wall. It could even be done when using the bathroom or when your hands are tied with other things.
Another feature that stands out about the Yoga Tab 3 Pro is it's unbelievable 10,200mAh battery life, which a Lenovo rep says is made for "binging on Netflix," delivering an absurd 18 hours of usage.
Combine the projector with the hang-mode function and battery life and this tablet might just be a Netflix binger's dream come true.
