Snapchat Launches A New Store That Will Allow Users To Keep Lenses Forever

If you are a Snapchat addict, then chances are, you can't stop using the puking rainbow lens filter.

Snapchat launched Lenses back in September, an editing feature that allows you to include animations and special effects in real-time like a mustache or the rainbow vomit to create silly selfies. Users simply press and hold on their face while in selfie mode and choose the animation they want to include that is located at the bottom of the screen, with new ones added regularly so you never get bored.

However, now, users can keep these rotating lens filters forever by purchasing them for $0.99 each in a new store that just launched in the app.

Users can access the Lens Store by swiping past the free lenses that are offered on the app. Tap on the icon you want to buy, and then follow the instructions to make the purchase. The purchased filter will then appear in the lens lineup, so that you can include it in as many snaps as your heart desires.

Just keep in mind that you won't be able to buy the lenses that are offered for free, only the ones offered in the Lens Store.

Snapchat revealed that there will be 30 lenses that are available to purchase each day, including popular ones like the rainbow puke, as well as other new ones.

The Lens Store will start rolling out today for users in the U.S., UK, Australia, Brazil, Saudi Arabia and a few more European countries.

Snapchat has about 100 million daily users, with lenses used in 10 million snaps a day.

The company also rolled out its first in-app purchase feature in September that allows users to purchase three replays for $0.99 each.
