His smile shows just how proud he is of himself. Otto, a skateboarding bulldog, just can't get enough of cruising on the sidewalk on his wheels. And now, he's the official holder of a Guinness World Record for skateboarding under the legs of the longest human tunnel.
The record was set in Lima, Peru where Otto effortlessly skateboarded underneath the legs of 30 humans without hitting them in honor of Guinness World Records Day 2015.
Otto's humans, Luciana Viale and Robert Rickards, reportedly got the idea to train Otto for the human tunnel record when Otto one day started skating towards Viale so fast that she has to widen her stance so that he would not crash into her.
Viale and Rickards also shared that videos of Tillman, the Guinness World Record holder for fastest skateboarding dog, who also happened to be a bulldog, inspired them as well to indulge Otto in his skateboarding hobby.
Sadly, Tillman passed away in October following respiratory and heart-related problems.
However, just like his idol, Otto not only skateboards, but can also reportedly surf and skimboard.
Sarah Cusson was the Guinness World Records adjudicator who witnessed Otto's incredible feat and presented him with his official certificate.
In addition to Otto's human tunnel record, other records were also set around the world on Guinness World Records Day. In Delhi, Dinesh Shivnath Upadhyaya is the proud record holder of the "most lit candles in the mouth" (15) - which is quite fitting since India is also celebrating the Hindu festival of light, Diwali.
In the UK, stunt driver Alastair Moffatt now holds the record for "tightest reverse parallel park" by squeezing a mini in between two cars with a combined space of merely 13.39 inches.
And in Japan, Kinichi Ito, has set the record for "fastest 100 meter running on all fours."
Of all these records set on Guinness World Records Day, Otto can proudly say that he is the only one who actually walks, runs, and skateboards on all fours.
