If you were shut out of San Diego Comic Con when 20th Century Fox unveiled the first footage from X-Men: Apocalypse to a select crowd, your long mutant drought is close to being over.
According to Collider, the first full trailer for Apocalypse will be attached to screenings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, giving you even more reason to rush out to see J.J. Abrams take us to a galaxy far, far away. It's also the quickest way to get your Oscar Isaac fill for the rest of the year.
This information comes straight from the source, Apocalypse co-writer/producer, Simon Kinberg, who told Collider: "I can in fact confirm that information. Our first trailer will be on Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It's our first thing out there so it is somewhat of a teaser but it's certainly longer than a minute and it has a ton of cool stuff in it."
So while it's great that we'll see some sweet, sweet X-Men action before our first foray into the new Star Wars universe, remember Kinberg's own words: "it is somewhat of a teaser."
Don't expect to see half the movie in advance; just sit back and enjoy the fact that we live in a world where you get to see a live-action Apocalypse and the return of Han Solo in the same night.
You can catch this first Apocalypse trailer when The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18...though it'll probably be online at the same time.
