‘Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’ November Update To Add Major Changes: Here’s What You Need To Know

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is slated to receive some new updates at the end of November which will incorporate major modifications.

Konami has written a blog post detailing the enhancements which will be added to the video game via the upcoming patch.

Gamers will soon be treated to a revamped user interface of the PF Rating screen. The players will notice that the display of the factors contributing to the PF's overall strength will be given a makeover.

"With this better understanding of your PF's status, you'll have all the necessary intel to get the most out of FOB missions, etc.," writes Konami.

With the new update, gamers will be provided with new weapons. Players will have the option to develop Grade 8 equipment including the AM MRS-4R, WU S.PISTOL CB and KABARGA-83.

Security devices also will be provided to protect FOBs, including online development items so their development will still continue even if gamers are away from their PCs or game systems. Gamers could likewise use their earned MB Coins to make the development time shorter.

Interestingly, with the update, it is also possible now to build a third FOB.

The anti-reflex research is also added, which is aimed to make the Reflex Mode time shorter for invaders.

Meanwhile, for beginners, Konami says it will soon be easier for them to grab the "Lil' Chick Hat" and "Chicken Hat." These are given to gamers who frequently fail the same mission. Also for newcomers, a Rookie Assist Function is incorporated to Espionage Ratings.

Konami lays out other adjustments and bug fixes it integrated in the November patch, which include:

• The display of the top rankings of Espionage and PF Rating

• The possibility of selling your online inventory

• The problem with certain DLC uniform equipment not featuring the advertised effect already fixed

• Enhanced in-game notifications of events and other news
