‘Dark Souls 3’ Set For Release In April 2016, Will Come With Collector's And Prestige Editions

Dark Souls 3 is the next addition to the franchise, and those who have been waiting for an announcement about the release date should wait no longer after this alleged leaked information.

Apparently, there will be two versions of Dark Souls 3 when it becomes available next year. These versions are the Collector's Edition and the Prestige Edition. The accompanying images also revealed the contents both editions will bring to gamers, along with an April 12, 2016, release date.

The Collector's Edition will come with a copy of Dark Souls 3 along with a 10-inch, red knight figurine, art book, cloth game map, soundtrack, iron-on patches, metal case and collector's box. When it comes down to the Prestige Edition, the contents of the box are all the same apart from the red knight figurine.

Instead of that 10-inch item, gamers should expect to get a 16-inch Lord of Cinder figurine and what appears to be a different collector's box.

Many gamers are already very excited about the contents of the box, but more excited about the game itself due to the long wait for the new game. PlayStation 4 owners got a slight taste of things to come due to the exclusive title, Bloodborne.

As for the pricing, well, the Collector's Edition should cost gamers 499 AED, which is somewhere around $136. The Prestige Edition, on the other hand, will cost 1799 AED, which is around $490.

Prices are expected to change whenever these editions have been officially confirmed by Bandai Namco. If they are real, we expect the publisher to come forth with more information during the early parts of 2016 to get the players hyped up for the game.

Dark Souls 3 was first announced at E3 2015, but since then, the game has gone into the shadows as other games occupied gamers' focus.
