Ever since the announcement of Fallout 4, fans have been wondering if the game might feature driveable vehicles. That's still up in the air, but if nothing else at least you'll at least be able to drive Fallout 4 themed cars in Forza Motorsport 6.
Turn 10 Studios and Bethesda have announced that two free, Fallout 4 themed cars are joining the racing sim, the first of which is available now in the form of the 1956 Ford 100 pickup truck. The truck sports a Vault-Tec theme, with the face of the franchise's mascot, Vault Boy, plastered on the side. It's also got a nice coat of rust that lends itself particularly well to the apocalyptic world of Fallout.
For gamers who purchase Fallout 4 for Xbox One, you'll be able to download yet another Fallout car free of charge to use in Forza 6: the fictional Chryslus Rocket 69 supercar. Described as "the future of speed", the Rocket 69 will be arriving soon. You can get a sneak peak at the car in the video at the bottom of this post.
"Everyone asks us if you can drive the cars in Fallout 4, and now we can say yes--in Forza, our favorite racing game," says Todd Howard, game director at Bethesda Game Studios.
The chances of driving cars in the latest Fallout aren't looking good, but at least Forza has you covered.
Fallout 4 releases on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on Nov. 10. You can check out the game's full list of perks here.
