The CW and DC Entertainment have released an exclusive clip for next week's episode of Arrow, which features the highly-anticipated return of John Constantine (played by Matthew Ryan) after the cancellation of the character's eponymous NBC show earlier this year.
Broadcasted on DC All-Access, the comic publisher and entertainment studio's Internet-based news source for the lowdown on all things DC Comics, the clip from the upcoming episode "Haunted" reveals Oliver McQueen (Stephen Amell) showing Constantine around the Arrowcave while both discuss Arrow's "current problem": Big Bad and H.I.V.E. leader Damien Darhk. Constantine's advice on dealing with the villain? "Get out of town."
The episode also features the return of Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), the original Black Canary — prior to her death, that is — and the aftermath of her resurrection via the Lazarus Pit by her sister, Laurel (Katie Cassidy), the current resident canary-crying vigilante.
Here is the CW's official synopsis for "Haunted":
"When things take a turn for the worse with Sara, Oliver calls in a favor from an old friend who deals in the mystical, John Constantine."
As of now, there are no plans to bring back John Constantine for future episodes.
"Haunted" will air on the CW Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 8 p.m. EST.
