Google Glass MindRDR app can give you telekinetic powers. Here's how

Telekinesis will soon be possible with Google Glass as a new app was developed with telekinetic powers. Called as the MindRDR, this new Google Glass app allows the user to take photos without having to push a button. Thinking about actually taking a photo does the job.

To take photos of what a wearer sees, he simple needs to concentrate hard and his brainwaves can tell the Glass what to do. No need to voice or command or touching the specs as the mind can tell the pair.

This breakthrough app in wearable technology is still is in its early stage but it certainly has potential. Designed by This Place, a London-based company, the app makes use of a Neurosky EEG biosensor that measures the brainwaves. The brainwaves are then read and translated into action. Relax and concentrate-that's what the app wants you to do to take a photo with the hi-tech specs.

Once the photo is taken, the user can choose to easily share on social media sites.

'Google Glass is one of the world's most recognizable and popular pieces of wearable technology, but after getting our hands on it, the challenge of connecting it to brainwaves was one we could not resist,' This Place CEO, Dusan Hamlin said

This Place wanted to see the potential of the Glass by allowing users to control the pair only with their minds. A horizontal line can be seen on the middle of the display. The line moves to the top as users concentrate. The closer the line is to the top, the better. As the top of the screen is fully reached, the Google Glass then captures a screen.

A new screen will appear to that will allow the user to prompt the Glass what to do next: discard the image by "relaxing" or share it by concentrating again.

The possibilities for telekinesis using Google Glass are endless. At present, it is limited to capturing a photo and sharing on social media. The technology is new but the MindRDR could possibly help those with special condition someday.

'This Place is already in conversation with Professor Stephen Hawking, amongst others, about the possibilities MindRDR could bring as the product evolves,' creative director of This Place, Chloe Kirton shared.

What's more good news is the software is open source. This means anyone can modify and redistribute the program.
