Users can also input a YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram link to populate the list of locations featured in the video. At the moment, the tool is limited to processing TikTok videos with text overlays. Transcripts are utilized by the tool for YouTube videos to display recommended sections.

Users have the option to upload either a ticket screenshot or a list of cities they plan to visit, and then request recommendations from Mindtrip's assistant for attractions, bars, and restaurants.

Itineraries Based on Anything

Named "Start Anywhere," the AI-driven tool reportedly enables travelers to either book the provided itinerary as is or utilize it as a starting point for crafting their travel plans. Users' preferences can be used to customize the tool's recommendations.

If users have already made their travel or accommodation arrangements, they can begin by providing a copy of their hotel or flight reservations.

Andy Moss, CEO of Mindtrip, explains to sources that Start Anywhere's strength lies in its combination of generative AI's wide instant-response capability with the company's unique travel data, rather than relying on a generic chatbot to create a travel plan.

AI in Travelling

This newest update comes as artificial intelligence continues to be more and more utilized by the traveling industry in a variety of aspects. Most recently, users were also introduced to Herodot.

Herodot is known as the ultimate travel app for offering an in-depth exploration of the historical, cultural, and other elements of the locations users travel to. This application offers users access to the world through their fingertips, captivating them with compelling narratives. It provides narration in various styles and tones, accommodating multiple languages.

Users can picture themselves taking a leisurely walk in Paris, with a travel buddy detailing the history of the Louvre Museum like a well-informed friend, enhancing the experience with a personal touch.

Herodot possesses the ability to describe any item, location, or even an entire region on a map, recounting historical events engagingly and involving participants in interesting conversations. Users have the option to interact with the app directly, almost like having a chat. This travel guide, powered by AI, serves as their partner as they explore the intricate historical backgrounds of different locations.

Herodot stands out from audio guides as it provides a wider range of features beyond predetermined content and dull narration. It is possible to tell the story in various languages, formats, and durations.
