HBO's Hard Knocks is currently in its 10th season of giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of an NFL team — this year with the lens being on the Houston Texans.
Now, World Wrestling Entertainment wants to do the same with Breaking Ground. The reality series — narrated by legendary actor William Shatner and scheduled to debut immediately following Monday Night Raw on the WWE Network on Oct. 26 — will bring the WWE Universe one step closer to seeing how its Performance Center training facility works in churning out the next best superstars and divas.
Breaking Ground will air 10 episodes produced by WWE and 3 Ball Entertainment. WWE already offered fans access to the first episode earlier Monday via its official Facebook page and YouTube channel.
The first episode has Triple H setting the tone saying: "Some will make it ... some won't."
Adds Shatner in the opening narration of the series: "This is not a job — it's a lifestyle. No one here is guaranteed a thing ... and they all want to make it to the top."
With that being said, the series launches into telling the stories of several WWE prospects having to work their way up from the Performance Center to getting matches on NXT and hopefully breaking ground on the main roster of talent on Raw and SmackDown.
From the initial viewing, the series looks pretty good.
