It took "The Beast" Brock Lesnar breaking out of Hell's Gate and pummeling The Undertaker UFC-style, before pinning the Dead Man with the third F5 of the night to be crowned victorious in the WWE's Hell in a Cell pay per view on Sunday night.
While the match was probably the third and final bout between Lesnar and The Undertaker, it won't be Undertaker's last bit of WWE action. That's because as the Dead Man was serenaded with chants of "Thank you, Taker" upon exiting the ring Sunday night, the WWE was already flashing a promo to The Undertaker appearing at its next big pay per view, Survivor Series.
In fact, the WWE billed the sneak preview of the November 22 event as Taker's 25th year in World Wrestling Entertainment. It was November 22, 1990, when The Undertaker was a surprise guest performer in Survivor Series in Hartford, CT., making his then-WWF debut.
Despite feeling the brunt of "The Beast's" brutality in Hell in a Cell, it looks like The Undertaker will be front and center for the Survivor Series on November 22 in Atlanta. And we're not going out on a limb saying, it will probably be the Taker and some teammates going up against the Wyatt family.
That's because as a motionless Undertaker lay on the mat on Sunday night, the Wyatts picked apart what remained of the legendary WWE Superstar like vultures, dragging him further into the abyss.
Back where he started...will next month's Survivor Series be the final stand in The Undertaker's glorious career?
