The latest update from Insomniac Games on Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on the PlayStation 5 is met with massive enthusiasm from fans, and this is because, of the latest changes to the famed Sam Raimi suit that appeared in the game. As part of Spidey's customization options, the "Webbed Suit" got more accurate with its appearance based on the renowned 2000s pop culture look.
Fans Make Spider-Man 2 Trend Thanks to Sam Raimi Suit Update

Fans are gushing over the latest of what Insomniac Games has to offer as it focused its attention on the Spider-Man 2 suit, a.k.a. the Webbed Suit, to feature new updates in how it looks. It was noted by fans that in this latest update, the Raimi suit features better colors which match more of how it was portrayed in the movies, with Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker, in this game skin.
One user even paid homage to Raimi's Spider-Man 3, with Peter Parker tearing off the symbiote suit and revealing the Webbed suit underneath, although that did not happen in the movie.
In this release, the Webbed Suit features a more 1:1 replica of the original trilogy suits from Sam Raimi, best known as a revolutionary take on Spidey's spandex which was different from the comics. With this, the new Insomniac update and the Spider-Man 2 movie saw itself trending online.
Insomniac Games shared version 1.002.000 with the world and also brought the release notes, featuring the massive improvements to the game which includes the NG+ (New Game+) which showcases the new Ultimate Levels that go beyond the level cap of the mode.
Additionally, it features new styles for the Suit Tech and Symbiote Suit, alongside Mission Replays, changing the time of day, Photo and Action Figure Modes, two new Hellfire Gala Suits, Gameheads Fly N' Fresh Suit pack, and tendril color changes.
Insomniac Games and the Marvel's Spider-Man Franchise
It has been months since the arrival of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, the sequel to the renowned game from PlayStation and Insomniac Games from 2018, following the life of the friendly neighborhood hero, Peter Parker. In this release, Insomniac went overboard with what it has to offer, adding Miles Morales to the experience, bringing both heroes to this new adventure.
There are many more experiences to look forward to in the game, as there are reports behind a possible DLC that would bring in another Marvel hero, the devil from Hell's Kitchen, Daredevil. However, these are still speculations.
Fans are already getting worked up about the next installment of the mainline franchise, Marvel's Spider-Man 3, with Peter Parker actor, Yuri Lowenthal, hinting that it is not yet the end of the line for his character.
