The latest confirmation from the US Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) granted SpaceX the license authorization it needed for its second launch test of the Starship set this November. After almost seven months since the explosion and the static fire test, with the FAA's demand for SpaceX to fix as many as 63 corrective actions, the spacecraft is now cleared for its scheduled takeoff.

Elon Musk's SpaceX recently announced that it is ready for its second test for the full stack of the Starship and Super Heavy Booster, with this being a deciding factor for its future.

The FAA released a statement that confirms the latest license authorization for SpaceX to launch its second test flight of the Starship, the Stainless Steel spacecraft bound for Mars.

According to the agency, "The FAA has given license authorization for the second launch of the @SpaceX Starship Super Heavy vehicle. The FAA determined SpaceX met all safety, environmental, policy, and financial responsibility requirements."

After several months of SpaceX's work on Starship, its latest application met all the requirements of the FAA, with various groups concerned about the safety factors and environmental factors surrounding it.

Starship is Gearing Up for a November 17 Launch

Earlier today, SpaceX also confirmed that its target launch for the Starship's second test is this Friday, November 17, at around 7:00 AM Central Time, with a two-hour launch window. The company's live stream will take place on its X account which would begin 30 minutes before its much-awaited liftoff, inviting users to join the online event and witness its marvels.

SpaceX's Starship and its Operations

Starship did not see smooth sailing for its past operations, and this is because of various lapses on the spacecraft which resulted in failures and an explosion that took place earlier this April.

Still, SpaceX delivered many tweaks and improvements along the way, with its most recent static fire test for the Super Heavy's Booster 9 seeing a "success" despite several issues.

There are massive plans for SpaceX's Starship in the future, and one of its main focuses is to be a vessel that will transport humans to Mars, and doing so will establish its mark on history.

Another venture that SpaceX is looking into is to make the Starship float around in orbit and stand as the next space station, with the company envisioning it to be a space destination.

Future goals are still in place for Starship, and other ventures in partnership with commercial space companies and the world's agencies await the success of the Stainless Steel spacecraft. Fans and enthusiasts are looking forward to this Friday's Starship launch, with the spacecraft seeing its launch license approved by the FAA, with many hopeful for what is next for it.
