The giant automaker announced that the 2nd-gen ID.3 would be its latest all-electric car in the ID. lineup.

Volkswagen said that it has over half a million ID. models delivered to its customers across the globe as of press time.
The carmaker added that it would expand the ID. family by adding the upgraded VW ID.3.
Volkswagen explained that it would launch the new EV so that it could meet the high levels of demand for fully-electric compact vehicles.

According to Electrek's latest report, the second-generation Volkswagen ID.3 will arrive in spring 2023.

The first version of the ID.3 has already received many positive responses from consumers. This is also expected to happen with the upgraded VW ID.3.

"The new ID.3 demonstrates our commitment to quality, design, and sustainability. The design has matured, and we've upgraded the materials used in the interior," said Volkswagen Board Member for Sales Imelda Labbe via VW's official press release.
She added that their customer's needs are always their main priority, saying they listen to their responses to enhance their product portfolio.

It is also equipped with OTA (Over-the-Air) capabilities, as well as new software that provides better performance.
Aside from these, here are other features you can expect from the new 2nd-gen VW ID.3:

- Integrated with the latest assist systems, such as Park Assist Plus with Memory Function and Travel Assist with Swarm Data. '
