Innersloth and Schell Games announced the arrival of "Among Us VR," a game that delivers the "Among Us" experience to virtual reality headsets for a more immersive experience. The game's early reviews since its launch gave it positive feedback, especially as it delivers a more hands-on experience for gamers to work on Skeld II and catch impostors secretly eliminating them.

Put on your spacesuits and choose your favorite accessory to represent yourself, as "Among Us VR's" social deduction experience is here to catch users off balance, now being the actual crewmate in the game.

Innersloth is inviting the public to head back to Skeld II or other locations in the game to play the brand new immersive social deduction game, "Among Us VR."

The company only released the game several hours ago, and this time, users need to pay to get the game on their VR headsets and experience it online amongst friends or random players.

The company developed "Among Us VR" with Schell Games to deliver the virtual gaming experience where they get to be the actual crewmates and imposters on their POV.

"Among Us VR" will not let users control their avatars through their phones, but see the entire spaceship or station with their eyes via their virtual reality headsets.

'Among Us VR': Where to Buy and Play the Game?

Innersloth and Schell said that "Among Us VR" is available for three platforms, the Meta Quest (also for Oculus headsets), Rift VR, and Steam VR.

The game is available for $9.99, now accessible via the Meta Quest Store, the Rift Store, and Steam's VR store.

As a VR game, users would have an immersive experience with the game, as it takes the massive 360 space to explore the locations, do different jobs, or hunt as the impostor.

'Among Us' and the Game's Legacy

"Among Us" is a game that shocked the world during the pandemic season, especially as it brought gamers, friends, and family closer with its experience and gameplay. Truth be told, the game was released in 2018 but did not get its massive fame until 2020 when the world was locked in their homes and had no chance to socialize among friends.

The game highly focuses on social interaction, teamwork, and critical analysis skills to catch the impostor and avoid getting killed when doing their job.

Gamers also need to work on their impostor skills to avoid detection, being caught in the act of eliminating a crewmate or being brought up on emergency meetings.

Its hit game made it top of different charts and became a massive trend where people can get together and play the famous Mafia game.

Innersloth also decided to focus on the original 2018 game instead of delivering a planned sequel for the title, something which it canceled last 2020.

The latest "Among Us" experience may not be a sequel as it centers on 2018, but it still offers a new experience for all, as they get to be the crewmates via their VR headsets in this immersive version of the title.
