"Death Stranding" fans have a lot to look forward to as the Kojima Productions game that was initially released for PlayStation consoles, then PC is set to arrive on Xbox Game Pass soon.

According to a report from Comicbook, after several teases leading up to the announcement shared with Xbox Game Pass subscribers on August 18, Microsoft officially announced the game's release to the PC version of the Game Pass. Its PC Game Pass release will enable more PC players to access the game.

Kojima Productions, 505 Games Announce "Death Stranding" Launch

This game from legendary creator Hideo Kojima is back again to mesmerize fans with its tantalizing gameplay and storyline. Once again, PC users will experience the incredible world-building this game put up.

This genre-defying open world action-adventure will star award-winning actors Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, and Lindsay Wagner.

In the game, a mysterious phenomenon called the 'Death Stranding' is caused by a series of explosions and tremors across the globe. With a world on the brink of collapse, Sam Porter Bridges will be the hero to save humanity from imminent extinction.

Back in May, Tech Times reported that "Death Stranding" creator Hideo Kojima gave out hints regarding "Death Stranding 2" by posting a strange tweet involving "The Walking Dead" actor Norman Reedus. This series of tweets, later on, confirmed that Reedus and Kojima had been actively discussing the "Death Stranding" sequel.

A few months later, Microsoft and publisher 505 Games have already confirmed that Xbox's PC Game Pass subscribers will finally have a glimpse of the much-awaited sequel. According to early listings, the game will be released on August 23.

"Death Stranding" Features Unlockable Items

This news was first confirmed by an Xbox Wire post featuring an announcement trailer for "Death Stranding." The reintroduction of the game will hopefully let more players enjoy the 'stranding' experience. A new console release seems to be still in the dark.

The Wire post adds that PC gamers can expect features like ultrawide mode, photo mode, high frame rate, and cross-over contents from other prominent franchises. The game also announced that there will be unlockable items embedded in the game. Catch the following items as you progress in the story.

Almost every hour, PC Game Pass Twitter posts memes and additional information about the upcoming "Death Stranding" release. In a recent tweet, PC Game Pass posted a snapshot of the game showing the game's protagonist carrying a metal suitcase with an edited sticker saying 'Do Not Tamper', 'special delivery', the PC Game Pass tweet wrote.
