One of the world's most popular gaming systems, Xbox, gets another amazing update! Unfortunately, the feature is exclusively available to the Users with the "Alpha Skip-Ahead" tier in the Xbox Insiders program. This is a preview program where users have earlier updates. A primary prerequisite to access Steam in Xbox is to have the latest version of Microsoft Edge browser, where users can run GeForce Now. However, you can now play Steam on Xbox! The Gaming Experience Playing Steam In Xbox

Admittedly, the game goes through an adjustment from browser to Xbox. This might not produce premium gaming graphics. However, going with this method, most games you can play on the browser would definitely run.

This program is brand new and, unfortunately, comes with some glitches. First, only games that support Xbox controller systems will work. For games that use keyboard and mouse, Microsoft Edge currently has problems detecting the mouse in Xbox, and therefore, has no mouse functionality.

Second, not all games immediately load. Chip found out that it takes a bit of luck if the program ends up running or crashes in the middle of the loading program. Sometimes Chip has to restart Microsoft Edge to try again.

Lastly, most games might not have the best response time. With the Steam games streaming straight from the internet, it also has graphical differences compared to playing games natively built for Xbox. This, however, is hardly noticeable. If you have a good internet connection, then the game will play from average to fairly decent.

You Can Play Steam Without Opening Your PC.

Tom'sGuide says this development has an incredible amount of potential. How many games have you installed in your Steam, and now might soon be playable in your Xbox controller?

Not only that, with the new link of Bethesda, countless now games can be added to your library.

Xbox and its Microsoft Edge browser running with GeForce Now lets you play with the toughest games Microsoft has to offer. This Xbox Series X opens up all the different gaming possibilities running only in one of the best systems.

There is no official update on when the other Xbox series will be upgraded with the new Microsoft Edge browser. However, the future looks promising as the Alpha Skip-Ahead tier programs would be available at a later date.
