Meta has introduced three new tiers as part of its expanded paid verification service for businesses, offering additional benefits to companies willing to subscribe to the tech giant's monthly plans.

The program, known as Meta Verified, was initially tested last year with businesses in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada following the launch of paid verification for individuals.

Meta Verified's 3 New Tiers for Businesses

Under this expanded initiative, Meta is broadening its service offerings to cater to business owners who heavily rely on its platforms. The baseline "standard" plan, priced at $14.99 per month, provides businesses with a verification badge, improved search ranking, protection against impersonation, the ability to include links in images, customer support, and many more.

This subscription includes a single Facebook or Instagram account, with plans to extend the program to WhatsApp in the near future.

While the standard plan is now priced equivalently for both individuals and businesses, additional features come at a premium. Meta is introducing three new tiers: the "plus" plan at $44.99 per month, the "premium" plan at $119.99 per month, and the "max" plan at $349.99 per month.

These higher tiers include advanced perks such as the ability to add links to Reels posts, priority customer support, and expanded profile customization capabilities.

Meta Verified's Feedback from Small Businesses

Meta's press release elaborates on the rationale behind expanding the Meta Verified program. It highlights the positive feedback received from small businesses during the initial testing phase.

The expansion of Meta Verified is being rolled out starting with Australia and New Zealand, followed by other countries like Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Peru, France, and Italy.

Meta plans to extend the program to WhatsApp users in the near future to provide a comprehensive suite of tools to businesses across its platforms.

The subscription plans aim to cater to a diverse range of business needs, offering flexibility and scalability to accommodate various goals and activities on Meta's apps.

Key features of Meta Verified across all subscription tiers include a verified badge, account support, impersonation monitoring, and additional tools to enhance profile visibility and customer engagement.
