Lei Jun, the current CEO of Xiaomi recently announced that HyperOS is getting a fresh logo representing a "galaxy of dots" in the real universe.

As Jun posted on X (formerly Twitter) and Weibo, its Chinese version, the fresh HyperOS Android skin will spell a big change for Xiaomi users.

In a visually striking move, the Chinese smartphone maker revealed the new logo for HyperOS. Described by Lei Jun as a "galaxy of dots," the logo symbolizes the convergence of ideas and connections within our digital universe. The dots elegantly swirl together, representing the seamless flow of people and devices in the HyperOS world, akin to stars in the real universe.

Artistic Touch to the Rebranding

Lei Jun's poetic description adds an artistic touch to the rebranding. By likening the interconnected dots to stars in the real universe, Xiaomi emphasizes the fluid and seamless experience users can expect within the HyperOS ecosystem.

80 Devices to Get HyperOS Update

Not stopping at a logo redesign, Xiaomi shared an extensive list of devices set to receive the HyperOS update, according to Android Headlines.

Initially, eight devices were announced, followed by an additional 80 devices. This brings the total to 88 devices slated for the HyperOS update. It's worth noting that the list is currently specific to China but includes global models from the initial announcement.

When Will HyperOS's New Logo to Xiaomi Devices?

In the same report, Xiaomi says that it will be rolled out to newer and more popular devices. Since we're nearing the end of 2023, it is expected that the company will launch it in the first half of 2024.
