A new speculation regarding OnePlus' next-generation smartwatch, the Watch 2, was about its release date. It was rumored to arrive in 2024. The other rumor about the OnePlus Watch 2 centered on being a better device than its first smartwatch.
Two OnePlus Watch models have already been released in the past.OnePlus has yet to announce a new tech wearable or another smartwatch for this year. However, it is expected by speculators to arrive next year bearing the same design as its predecessor.
OnePlus Watch 2 Is Expected to be Released in 2024
A tip from Max Jambor talked about OnePlus' iconic design of using round styles for its smartphone cameras. It also revealed an upcoming round-face smartwatch coming in 2024.
This new revelation from the speculator has shaken the hive of OnePlus fans, with some saying that the company's last release "wasn't good," referring to the Watch 1 from 2021.
However, Jambor addressed this, saying that the OnePlus Watch 2 "will be better," but did not reveal any other information regarding this device. Earlier rumors about the Watch 2 had already surfaced before. It was expected in 2022, but despite many claims, the device did not appear.

OnePlus Watch 2: What to Expect From It?
It remains unknown if the OnePlus Watch 2 would center on its self-designed operating system or use Samsung and Google's renowned Wear OS, based on Android.
The new watch is expected to bring the best of the original OnePlus Watch, centering on its sleek round look, alongside the week-long battery life. It still saw few third-party apps available as it used its operating system.

The public eagerly awaited the release of the first smartwatch from OnePlus, being the first outing of its wearable that would pair with its smartphone devices.
However, during its initial releases, it did not bode well among reviewers and tech enthusiasts. While it brought an iconic design and capabilities, it did not have any of the latest features in 2021.
It was up against big names in the tech industry, including the likes of Samsung's Galaxy Watch, the Apple Watch, Google's Pixel Watch, Fitbit, and more. Suffice it to say, the OnePlus Watch is up for massive competition in the smartwatch industry, and there is no room for error.
Despite a rough start for the device, many users are still looking forward to what OnePlus has to offer for its tech wearables, as its iconic smartphones need a partner for its operations.
