Xiaomi has extended past smartphones and like Samsung, it also sells certain home appliances. Recently, the company has launched a new electric kettle that promises fast heating for larger amounts of water.

According to the story by Gizmo China, the brand-new Xiaomi Smart Electric Kettle comes with a baby-grade glass inner lining. This ensures that users get high-quality water boiling and that it comes in a durable exterior with a strong 316 stainless steel heating plate.

It was also noted that the device operates at a powerful 1600W and is capable of fast boiling 5L of water. The total time it takes for the new Xiaomi Mijia Smart Electric Kettle to boil 5L of water is just around 18 minutes.

The article notes that the Kettle comes with its own advanced cooling circulation system. This results in a significant reduction in waiting times due to how fast it cools up, making it easy to use after it finishes heating up the water.

The 5L Capacity for the New Smart Electric Kettle Can Hold 20 Cups Ideal for Large Heating Quantities

As also reported by My News Drivers, the new Xiaomi Smart Electric Kettle comes with a 5L capacity, which is capable of holding 20 cups, making it ideal for those who need to heat up larger quantities of water. It was noted that there are also three different boil modes, including tap, purified, and cold.

So far, the Mijia Smart Electric Kettle was announced to come with multiple user-friendly features, including a touch control panel which is supposed to help settle water at temperatures floating from 40 degrees Celsius to up to 90 degrees Celsius.

The new kettle was designed with safety in mind which is why it packs a double-layer isolation design. Basically, the Smart Electric Kettle comes with a glass liner as well as a PP outer shell, which helps stop scalding from happening when the device is being used.

The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Electric Kettle reportedly comes with a unique altitude-detection feature, to ensure that it reaches accurate boiling points in areas that have high altitudes. This means that the device adjusts to the surroundings, ensuring it provides the perfect boiling water despite being in high-altitude areas.

The device also comes with a Mi Home App connection, which allows users to be able to customize their water temperatures through the simple use of their smartphones. By using the app, users can adjust the temperature and type of boiling that they want, which makes it easier to reach the perfect temperature for coffee or other temperature-sensitive drinks.

The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Electric Kettle will cost $36 while the recently announced Mijia Portable Electric Heating Cup 2, which is a cup that automatically heats up, is priced at $20. According to Opp.Today, on Sep 18, the Mijia Smart Electric Kettle 5L will be available for crowdfunding reservations.
