This 2023, Google has already put in massive developments for Chrome that change the way it handles data and delivers the browsing experience for users. One of the most important features to have arrived on the browser is the Privacy Sandbox, which went live on Chrome's version 114, a feature that shuns cookies from websites that helps enhance security.

One of the most celebrated news from Google was the UI update from August, as the company revealed that the download bar at the bottom is disappearing and will move to a new location. It was previously raised by users and fans that the download bar below disrupts the experience, with Google taking it to the address bar's right-hand side, hidden on its dedicated tray.

Over the years, Google met significant competition from the likes of Apple, Microsoft, Mozilla, Opera, and more, but it has held its position at the top and showed its superiority. Now, it celebrates 15 years since it was first introduced by Google, also bringing with it a new look that will give users the chance to personalize and stylize their browsing on the platform, coming soon for all.
