It was noted that Xiaomi can only be able to secure the needed technological advancements to push forward against its competition by focusing its efforts on high-end offerings.

With that, the executive isn't necessarily wrong when it comes to the high-end market, since this is where most of its profits come from.

The high-end market is reportedly also where a lot of the most cutting-edge technology comes from. So far, the company has been making massive pushes in order to be able to compete in the higher tier devices.
