The Lenovo Legion Slim 5 has officially been spotted and with that, its specs have finally been revealed. Aside from getting a 14-inch gaming laptop, buyers are going to get so much more with its options of GPU and expected specs.

Legion Slim 5 Comes with 14-Inch Screen and Two Choices of GPUs: AMD and NVIDIA

According to the story by Notebook Check, the Legion Slim 5 will reportedly come with a 14-inch screen and with it, two choices of GPUs. Buyers can either pick the AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS variant or the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 variant.

The device also comes with a huge battery that is capable of supporting 140 W charging. It was also noted that for the display, buyers will be getting an OLED screen with 120 Hz, among others.

So far, the new version of the latest Legion Slim5 has recently been announced. This comes after Lenovo announced the Slim 5 but in a different screen type, which was previously a 16-inch model.

The 14-inch is a More Portable Variant that's Lighter and Thinner

As of press time, the company has decided to offer a slightly smaller but way more portable model, the 14-inch variant. It was noted that this would be the first-ever 14-inch model within the gaming laptop division of Lenovo's Legion brand.

It was also reported that the Lenovo laptop weights just about 1.9 kg and is just 21 mm thick, making it light, sleek, and very portable. The article also pointed out how the laptop is too small for it to include a number pad.

As also highlighted by XDA-Developers, this could be seen as something that some users might find a disadvantage compared to the 16-inch version, should users till want to use a number pad. However, most gamers that use laptops often bring their own keyboards and mouse, which should mean the lacking number pad won't necessarily be a problem.

Other Specs Buyers Can Expect from the Lenovo Legion Slim 5

Despite its sleek design, Lenovo has still been successful when it came to adding an AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS APU as well as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 while still being able to operate at a 105 W TBP. It was noted that the AD107-based GPU comes with 2.37 GHz of boost clock speeds, which go well with the laptop's 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM.

Aside from that, Lenovo reportedly packs the Legion Slim 5 with what was described as up to 64 GB of LPDDR5X06400 RAM. It was also noted that the laptop comes with 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage to ensure that it functions up to user's standards with enough RAM and storage.

The Lenovo laptop also comes with a 73.6 Wh battery that's capable of charging from zero to 70% in the span of just 30 minutes. This is because of the device's USB Type-C 140 W fast charging.

It also comes with OLED display capable of 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak 400 nits.
