ASRock is now partnering with Topfeel to bring a new line of mini-PCs for various market segments. The collaboration resulted in the launching of six new product lines, including DeskMix, DeskMff, DeskNAS, DeskMic, DeskMax, and DeskAIO.

Topfeel, which was founded in 2014, specializes in the research, development, and manufacturing of embedded solutions, workstations, servers, and controllers.

ASRock DeskMix and DeskMax Series Designed for Workspace Users

According to Tom's Hardware, both DeskMic and DeskMff series are designed for mainstream buyers, while the DeskMix and DeskMax are designed for workspace users.

On the other hand, the DeskAIO and DeskNAS were designed for human-computer interaction or HCI and network-attached storage (NAS) consumers, respectively.

Twitter user momomo_us revealed that the new mini-PCs would come with AMD and Intel processors. These mini-PCs will reportedly be released with base configurations and barebones presentations so buyers can customize the devices for their specific needs.

It was reported that the DeskMix would have an H610 chipset by Intel and could support Intel 12th Gen Alder Lake. It is also capable of supporting the 13th Generation Raptor Lake processors.

DeskMix Features Include DIMM Memory Slots and GPU Spaces

The DeskMix also comes with two DIMM memory slots for DDR4-3200 memory modules and an M.2 interface running at PCIe 3.0 x1.

The device also has enough space for two 2.5-inch drives and a single-slot discrete graphics card. That could mean higher specs for gaming, but it still depends on the hardware used.

The DeskMix also features a 1U Flex 250W power supply with supporting CPU air coolers with a maximum of 1.6 inches of height. As for the DeskMax, it was confirmed that users could choose between the AMD A620 chipset or the Intel B660 chipset.

AMD and Intel Variations Include Ryzen 3000 to 5000 Series and Alder Lake and Raptor Models

The DeskMax with AMD can reportedly support AMD Ryzen 3000-, 4000-and 5000-series processors, while the Intel version could accommodate Intel Alder Lake and Raptor Lake chips.

The two models come with two DIMM slots for DDR5-5600 memory modules. However, they had different storage capacities.

It was also reported that the DeskMax uses SFX form factor power supplies with WiFi 6 or WiFi 5, depending on the model chosen by the buyer.

ASRock DeskNAS and DeskAIO Are Not Yet Available

The DeskMax has space for 2.2-inch tall coolers, with the number of USB ports almost identical. For the prices, the DeskMax A620 barebone model is reportedly being sold at $205, while the B660 model is $14 more expensive.

As of press time, it was reported that the DeskNAS and DeskAIO's product pages were not yet available.

ASRock DeskMic and the DeskMff Are the Smallest

The DeskMic and the DeskMff are the smallest devices out of the new mini-PCs' list of ASRock. Their specifications are almost similar too.

The DeskMic and the DeskMff feature AMD X300 chipset that allows AMD Ryzen 3000-, 4000-and 5000-series processors, and the Intel H610 chipset for Alder Lake and Raptor Lake parts.

Unlike the other recent mini-PCs, the DeskMic and DeskMff have SODIMM slots instead of the regular DIMM variants. It reportedly remains uncertain whether ASRock's new mini-PCs will be launched outside the Chinese market.
