The latest feature coming to YouTube Music has been long requested by users and fans to appear on the platform, and this is the same long-time feature already available on Spotify and Tidal. This is the song and album credits feature that would allow users to see the people involved in creating the music, apart from its artists and singers.

The music industry, from creators, artists, and fans alike, is highly invested in streaming platforms like YouTube Music, Spotify, and Apple Music, but they would also like to know the people involved in creating their favorite tunes.

A Redditor claimed that there is a new feature coming to YouTube Music that will allow users to view or see the people that worked on specific music, displaying the rightful credits to all collaborators. This feature will soon be available on the additional information or actions menu, one that would allow users to click the "View Song Credits" to show it for all.

The upcoming feature for YouTube Music has been long available on other streaming platforms like Spotify and Tidal, which allows people to learn more about who created or worked on the song.

It would also be available for the entire album's information, showing the different names or designations of the people involved in its creation, and not only its artists.

Indie or small-time music creators may not complete this field, and its data may not be available to users also looking into knowing who is behind the song, giving them credit on where it is due.

Still, despite its massive reach and user base in the world, the app does not show the proper credits to all who worked on the music, and it is somewhat damaging for those behind the scenes in its creation. Good thing is that this feature is coming soon for all to experience, and would display the people or entities who worked alongside the artist, giving them the rightful credit for their efforts.
