Xbox Series S Verizon Discount

The Xbox Series S typically retails for only $299, way cheaper than most gaming consoles out there. So if you are on a budget, you might be choosing between the Series S or the Nintendo Switch.

Despite its affordable pricing, the Xbox console still gets massive discounts from time to time. According to Windows Central, the lowest price of the Series S is around $220.

But for Verizon, that pricing is still a bit high. It now offers its subscribers a bang for the buck deal, which slashes the pricing of the gaming console by a whopping 50%.

The Xbox Series S promo is exclusive to Verizon subscribers by using the Verizon Up promo code. It now only retails for nearly $150 or $149.99, to be more exact.

How to Get Limited-Time Xbox Deal

Kotaku notes in its report that getting the discount is pretty straightforward for Verizon subscribers.

They will have to log in to their Verizon account. And from there, go straight to the Verizon Store. Then, redeem the $150 discount for the Xbox Series S. To claim it: simply add the gaming console to your cart.

Xbox Series S vs. X: Is the Cheaper One Worth Buying?

The Xbox Series X is the more powerful and capable gaming console, while the Series S is more affordable, yet it is still a capable machine.

Not to mention that both look sleek - the latter sports a clean white look. On the other hand, the Series X is covered in black.

Tom's Guide notes that Xbox Series X, which retails at $499 in the United States, offers impressive performance from frame rates to load times of gaming titles. It comes with up to 1 terabyte (TB) of internal storage and 16 gigabytes (GB) of RAM. On top of that, it sports an AMD RDNA 2 GPU with up to 12 teraflops.

Meanwhile, the cheaper Series S provides up to 512 GB of storage, along with 10 GB of RAM. It supports up to 1440p resolution, skipping 4K and 8K. Despite that, it still gives a smooth performance. For its discounted price of $150, it sure is worth getting.
