'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' Breaks Record on Disney+

As per a news story by Variety, the giant streaming service announced that "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" broke a new record for a Marvel movie on Disney+.

The sequel of "Black Panther" now ends up becoming the most-watched Marvel movie premiere on the streaming service globally. The new feat of "Wakanda Forever" is based on the number of hours that Disney Plus viewers streamed it in the first five days since it arrived on the platform.

However, Variety notes that Disney failed to provide any viewing number for its new most-watched Marvel movie.

Nevertheless, the recent achievement of "Wakanda Forever" is still quite impressive as it only took into account the first five days it was available in the streaming service.

It is worth noting that it took roughly three months since its release in the theaters before "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" reached the video streaming service.

The sequel, which follows the death of "King T' Challa," played by Chadwick Boseman, arrived on the streamer last February 1. Meanwhile, it hit the theaters back on November 11, 2022.
