SpaceX is currently in preparation for the upcoming orbital launch flight of the Starship vessel, one which CEO and co-founder Elon Musk have confirmed for the world.

Its most likely launch test would be this upcoming March, and while it is the same as the CEO's claims in the past, it still takes the farthest window compared to his previous statement.

In the latest tweet by Elon Musk regarding the Starship, the chief claimed that the orbital launch test that will have the Starship and Super Heavy Booster on a full stack will take place next month. There are various things that the company and Starship teams need to consider and check for the spacecraft before the anticipated launch.

The Starship is years in the making and it faced different problems and setbacks to the rocket, including explosions of its rockets, as well as the dragging environmental review from the FAA.

Last January, the Starship already began its process of de-stacking the Ship from its Booster to focus on its crucial test known as the static fire. This will let the team know whether to move forward or go back to its development to fix any issues present.

Not Available for February? Anticipate it Next Month

So far, Musk's February claims for the orbital launch test for SpaceX's Starship may not make it in time for this month as there are different aspects of the rockets it needs to address before its sendoff. However, fans need not worry as previous and present claims center on the March launch, one that SpaceX is looking forward to for its next step towards its Mars plans.

SpaceX's Starship Development

SpaceX's famous Stainless Steel and long haul rocket are already shaping up for its actual tests in real space conditions, one where it will opt to reach the orbit and return to Boca Chica.

Last month, it already completed several tests on its checklist including the wet dress rehearsal where it would fully load its tanks with the fuel needed for the journey.

The next step would be to blast all of its engines on their maximum settings, the one that the team would use on the actual launch when it will propel off the ground for its actual departure.

However, in its static fire test, no lift-off will happen as both the Booster and the Starship Ship 24 would stay docked in the Mechazilla's arms.

The chief executive of SpaceX said that there are more I's and T's left to cross and dot for its final approval and transition to its actual launch to orbit, one that would take place in March. Sadly, there would be no activities worth traveling to Texas for Starship fans this February due to tests, but come the next month, it will embark on its journey to embed itself in the aerospace industry.
