Elon Musk is on to something on Twitter, and there is a possibility that other suspended accounts may make a return on the platform after this poll, centering on "general amnesty" for previous users. Apart from the prolific American rapper and entrepreneur, Kanye West a.k.a. "Ye," and former US president Donald Trump, there are a lot more who faced suspension from the previous management.

Furthermore, Musk also claimed that there are deep secrets kept by Twitter from the public, and he aims to unearth them and center on transparency to gain its users' trust back.

Elon Musk Asks Twitter on 'General Amnesty' for Suspended Accounts

Prolific American rapper, Ye, already got his account back earlier this month, and the famed media personality is best known for losing his previous account due to his controversial statements.

However, under Musk's leadership, Ye and Trump got their platforms back, and it seems like more suspended accounts will see this as per Chief Twit's latest poll.

As of the current poll with more than two million responses, 72.1 percent already answered yes, agreeing to give "General Amnesty" to the suspended accounts who are still unable to access theirs.

On the other hand, there is only 27.9 percent answered "No" and disagrees with what Musk wanted to happen on the platform.

Twitter Has Secrets, and Elon Musk Wants Transparency

Billy Markus replied to Musk's poll, saying that whatever the answer would be, Twitter should be unbiased in enforcing its laws and guidelines, centering on giving the appropriate penalties for violators.

Musk's response centers on Twitter's secrets, saying that there is more he uncovers regarding it, the deeper he digs into this unknown information. Chief Twit said that he would reveal this to the public for transparency which is necessary to gain its trust back.

Elon Musk and Twitter

Elon Musk already enforced Twitter's new age to the platform, centering on giving the public more freedom from known content moderation measures of the short word social media in his reign as its leader. For the longest time, Musk's goal on the platform is to bring back to the olden days when people have free speech and have no inhibitions on their voice or opinion.

However, it is not something that everyone agrees to, especially with the way that people evolved, with more rights and protection for human rights, as well as to avoid discrimination, and more factors.

Musk's leadership online may not be as successful as people thought it would be, especially with the recent Twitter fiasco which centered on more troll or parody accounts getting verification. Now, instead of having a normal time on the platform, people experience the hardship of verifying accounts due to the Twitter blue checkmark that anyone can get.

Twitter 2.0 is yet to come and brings the full features of the platform to the public who wants to get verification but needs to pay for the service for them to retain it. Moreover, it seems like more accounts will see reinstatement from the current CEO, especially if they have not broken any law and other terms that Musk already set for the platform.
