Tesla's Model Y comes with many features and functions that will surely complete the drive, but it does not have the famed track mode which puts the car in a different experience with performance and power. It seems that Model Ys is capable of track mode, as Elon Musk said that it will soon come to a budget SUV, but it would be hard to transform its needs.

More people are becoming fond of electric vehicles, particularly as there are different plans for them, including performance racing to deliver a clean, adrenaline-pumping experience.

The Tesla Owners in Silicon Valley asked Elon Musk regarding the arrival of a famed Tesla EV mode available in other cars for the family-oriented Model Y. The organization asked for this feature to arrive at the Model Y as it is a regular-sized vehicle from the company that does not have it in the present, something which they also want for the car.

Here, the tech CEO said that "This is harder than it sounds, but ok."

And that is a confirmation that Model Y owners and Tesla Owners Silicon Valley have been waiting for from the company, with new experiences for the famed budget SUV to soon deliver.

Having track mode means that their vehicles will have a more aggressive feel to them, also adjusting to better performance output of their electric drivetrains, as evidenced by other releases.

It improves to modify the stability control, traction control, regenerative braking, and cooling systems to increase performance and handling.

However, Tesla only recommends using this mode in closed-circuit races, as it may be dangerous to use it on public roads.

Tesla and Elon Musk

Performance and speed are some of the qualities of a Tesla electric vehicle as evidenced by its many releases in the past years, and Elon Musk says it all on social media.

Tesla brought the famed "Cheetah Launch Mode" for users which will propel the vehicle faster from its starting point, and was used for races and different faceoffs from other EVs.

Of course, it does not hide the fact that there are many takes on the company's EVs that deliver on performance, one of which is the Tesla Roadster which can fly if it had wings.

Another known performance car from Tesla is the Model S Plaid, which was released in late 2021 and delivered "Ludicrous" speeds, referencing a "Spaceballs" movie reference to Rick Moranis.

The vehicle is powerful enough in its stock form, with a 0 to 60MPH speed in only two seconds, one of the fastest EVs there is in the world.

Tesla has different modes available on the car which its computer power and sends a message to its drivetrain to change its performance and output, to fit the user's needs. It will soon come to the Tesla Model Y and their previous family cars would now have an opportunity to also experience powerful performance, which they need to wait for in future releases.
