There are significant leaks regarding a new Bungie game coming soon for the world, but it is not necessarily a sequel game for the famous action shooter title on PCs and consoles. This game is the mobile version of "Destiny 2" coming soon for the smartphone platform according to the latest leaks from insiders who saw patents for the new title.

ComicBook Gaming reported that there might be a "Destiny 2" mobile version coming soon for the world, and leaks already claim its development and existence from its team. Many are already speculating on the next game for the "Destiny" series, especially as it brought its focus on the many expansions instead of a new title development.

However, this new information is a massive jump from the initial rumors regarding Bungie's development of a sequel game for "Destiny 2," now centering on a new platform experience.

It also means that the original "Destiny 2" story and experience will be available for the mobile, something that was not done by Bungie for its earlier titles in the franchise.

Bungie Patents on 'Destiny 2' Mobile

The Game Post was the first to notice a new patent for a "Destiny 2" mobile game coming from Bungie, claiming that this solidifies the evidence behind a new platform for the old title.

It is a different take for Bungie to deliver on a mobile game, especially as it centers on an entirely new experience that brings its controls and offers closer to one's hands. Additionally, it is not just one patent from Bungie, but multiple ones that support the mobile version of the title.

'Destiny' and its Franchise

Leakers in the gaming industry are also setting their sights on Bungie's developments and offers to the world, especially with a new release speculated from the company on the "Destiny" franchise. The game is already five years old and on its way to its sixth year since it was released in 2017, with speculations on a new game coming soon for all

There is no official word on the next installment of the "Destiny" series from Bungie, and this leaves gamers, fans, and leakers to speculate and dig through heaps of materials to gain information on the game.

The latest expansion for the game includes the "Destiny 2: Lightfall" and it centers on delivering the experience to arrive among gamers, infused with new content for all. There are leaks regarding the return of "The Rift" in the game, something which went to the background after many releases which focused on other experiences.

However, the previous leak talked about the next title, not a mobile game from Bungie, and it is a massive jump from one platform to another for the developers' next move. Still, it is a significant leak in the present as there are patents to support it, and the fact that many titles on the console and PC platforms are also taking their experience to the mobile.
