Corsair will be launching its very first gaming laptop called the Voyager a1600 notebook. The laptop will be sold at $2,699 and feature LCD-powered shortcut buttons located under the screen and more.

Corsair is Selling a Gaming Laptop Called the Voyager a1600

According to the story by PC Mag, the notebook will be packed with Cherry MX ultra-low profile switches for its keyboard. This will be the first time Corsair launched its own gaming laptop and fans will have to spend almost $3,000 to get it.

Corsair is more popularly known for selling PC accessories and now, it has decided to make its way into gaming laptops. The launch of the Voyager a1600 can be spotted on the company's website through major retailers.

As per its listing, the laptop will be an AMD Ryzen 7 laptop that uses the Radeon 6800M. When it comes to other specs, the gaming laptop is packed with 16GB DDR5 RAM and gives users 1TB M.2 storage while being a 16-inch 240Hz display.

Another special feature that the gaming laptop includes is the option for buyers to customize the backplate of the Voyager a1600. HD UV printing could cost buyers an extra $150 or more while laser etching would cost them $99 as seen on Origin PC

The gaming laptop's 16-inch IPS screen not only has a 240Hz refresh rate, but it also comes with a 2,560-by-1,600 resolution. The Voyager a1600 comes with ten different programmable shortcut keys under the main screen that can also be disabled.

The laptop comes with an RGB-lit keyboard which gives users a similar experience to a mechanical keyboard with the help of the Cherry MX ultra-low profile switches. To top everything off, the laptop comes with its own 1080p30 web camera, SDXC card reader, Wi-Fi 6E, and four built-in microphones that are already capable of noise cancellation.

More Upgraded Version Costs Buyers $2,999 for More RAM, Storage, Upgraded CPU, but Same GPU

The laptop is reportedly packed with two different USB 4.0 ports that come with Thunderbolt 3 capability. The laptop also includes one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port as well as a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A port.

The Voyager a1600 uses the AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS processor that is an 8-core, 16-thread CPU processor that can reach 4.4GHz maximum clock speed. When it comes to GPUs, the gaming laptop uses the AMD Radeon RX 6800M mobile GPU.

There is also an option for a more upgraded gaming laptop that would cost buyers $2,999 but comes with the Ryzen 9 6900HS processor but with the same GPU and changes to some other features. The more expensive version comes with 32GB DDR5 RAM, and 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVME SSD storage.
